Americans for Justice in Palestine Advocacys Day: Last Year’s Experience

Last year’s AJP Action Palestine Advocacy Days saw a record-breaking participation of 803 advocates from across the nation, making it the largest Palestine lobbying event in the United States. This year, the organization is excited to announce Palestine Advocacy Days 2023, which will take place from Monday, October 23rd to Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, in person in Washington, DC.

According to the organization, after three years of grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic and its impacts, the organization is back in person and their staff and members are more determined than ever. While the virtual format of the previous year’s event was effective in connecting constituents with their local representatives, American Muslims for Palestine and Americans for Justice in Palestine Action are thrilled to resume the program in person. Join hundreds of others of advocates for justice and human rights for Palestine in the nation’s capital as they advocate for Palestinian rights.

American Muslims for Palestine and Americans for Justice in Palestine Action: The Importance of Palestine Advocacy Days

According to American Muslims for Palestine, who is sponsoring the event: “Palestine Advocacy Day has proven to be a transformative tool in the fight for Palestinian rights in the US. Constituents visits to Capitol Hill have led to members of Congress taking a bold stance against the Zionist lobby, resulting in the introduction of legislation that holds Israel accountable for its crimes. The stories of Palestinian suffering and the Nakba are now resonating within the halls of power, and we must assert ourselves to bring about concrete policy changes that secure Palestinian rights and freedom.”
